ADORN512 OVER THE YEARS
2010
Dana Mitchell started ADORN, selling a carefully curated collection of accessories. It all started with a party: a friend of Dana’s loaned her the money for products and hosted it!
2011
ADORN took to the Internet, becoming ADORN512
when the website launched.
2012
ADORN512 started growing, both in popularity and in staff! The business was featured in NY Fashion Week AND Dana hired her first employee. Dana launched her first pop up holiday store with 3 other friends.
2013
Dana began designing and hand-making her own jewelry out of the basement of her Downers Grove home. Lindsay, ADORN512’s production manager to this day, started working for the growing business.
2014
ADORN512 embarked on a new journey, taking its handmade collections to America’s Mart in Atlanta after landing its first wholesale account! Dana also met her current creative director in 2014, in a line at Disneyland, no less. Some things are just meant to be. :)
2015
People magazine featured our Morse Code for Best gifts for Mother’s Day.
2016
ADORN512 was accepted to Amazon Handmade as an outstanding artisan.
2017
ADORN512’s re-branded to modernize the companies aesthetic. Clean, simple lines to speak to the brands enduring clean and classic aesthetic..
2018
ADORN512’s flagship studio opened May 3rd, 2018 in Downers Grove, IL.
2019
ADORN512 was featured in Anthropologie and Magnolia Market. The small business employed more stockists than ever before! A total of 11 people work for the ADORN512 Jewelry, 10 of which are women.
