Garden Party

The spring is calling, and now is the perfect time to grab a picnic basket and some glasses of lemonade and head outside. Celebrate because the weather is warm, the sun is out, or just because it’s a Sunday.

You don't need a garden to throw a seriously awesome garden party. Set up a table in your backyard, on a roof deck if you're a city-dweller, or pack up the blankets and set up shop in a local park. As long as you're outside with great food and even better people, you have the basics covered.

 1. Serve lemonade and sweet tea from mason jars. Mason jars are super trendy right now, and so cheap! You can pick up a set of 12 at Target for under $10.00. And no garden party is complete without striped straws

2. Keep your drinks cool with a bunch of ice in a wheelbarrow, or check out some of these creative drink stations for inspiration.

3. Use a white paint pen on a chalkboard to welcome your guests.

4. Finger food works best for this kind of affair. We're talking finger sandwiches, cupcakes, watermelon slices, and snacks. Or, ask each guest to bring an easy snack and make it a potluck.
